Professional Experience:
Lal is a civil and commercial mediator specialising in mediating a wide range of disputes, including contract disputes, IT & Technology disputes, tort-related claims including personal injury and medical negligence claims, and housing matters. With their deep understanding of the legal and regulatory frameworks that govern these areas, Lal is adept at facilitating productive discussions between parties and helping them reach mutually acceptable agreements. Their keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and commitment to fairness and impartiality have earned them a reputation as a trusted and effective mediator within the industry.
As the founder and director of Med Chambers Limited, Lal gained extensive experience in managing all aspects of a business, including business development, IT & software, customer service, and team management. Lal has also worked as a managing consultant at HCL Axon, where they managed SAP BW and BusinessObjects consultancy, delivering projects for clients such as Leo Pharma and GlaxoSmithKline. They were responsible for project delivery, business development, and bids & proposals. As a principal at Logica/CGI, Lal led SAP BW and BusinessObjects consultancy, managing projects in the public sector, including State of Guernsey, Nottinghamshire County Council, and Somerset Council. They oversaw proposals, bid response preparation, project estimation, and solutions architecture development and delivery.
Prior to this, Lal worked as a senior technical strategy consultant at Capgemini Technology Services UK, where they were responsible for IT strategy and project delivery for clients such as Network Rail, Mars, HMRC, B&Q (Kingfisher), Burberry, Premier Foods, and Derbyshire County Council. They have also worked as a lead consultant at Morse Applications Consulting, delivering SAP projects for clients including Garrard's Jewelers, Orange Telecom, RS Components, Tarmac, Warburton's Bread, and Boots. Lal has worked for various clients and software development projects in Saudi Arabia and other Asian and Middle Eastern countries as a consultant with Hewlett Packard (HP) in the Middle East and a consultant on SAP implementation in Saudi Aramco, Saudi Arabia.
