John Abbott has more than 30 years experience of in mediation gained through his practice as a Disputes Resolution Lawyer and mediator. He firmly believes that there are very few disputes that cannot be resolved by mediation and he actively assists parties to reach their own solutions.
He has mediated:

- Distributorship agreements (including international)
- Commercial contracts
- Disputes involving GP practices;
- Property/landlord and tenant
- Tied tenancies of public houses.
Philosophy
John maintains that no matter how complex a dispute and no matter how entrenched people are, it is nearly always possible for participants to achieve a mediated solution. Litigation is expensive, costly in terms of time, risky and stressful.
He works to relieve the parties from the stress and expense of the dispute and has been effective in assisting parties to reach a resolution to their disputes.
