Frances has had a long career as a practitioner-academic.

She has been a mediator since 2000.

She is a Retired Judge of HM Courts and Tribunals Service and a Retired Barrister (2012).

She has trained mediators for Align Mediation, a small panel in the Cotswolds, but is now exclusive to Clerksroom.

She demonstrates a 'can do' attitude to resolving disputes outside court, and enjoys working with clients, both lay and professional, in resolving disputes in the best way for them.

She strongly believes in the role of specialist knowledge and experience in helping cases to settle, but is also not put off by complexity of subject matter or what a dispute is about as long as it is one which the parties involved genuinely want to resolve.
