Rupert is a CMC Registered Mediator with a background of over 20 years as a practising Solicitor specialising in property litigation and dispute resolution.
Following his training and qualification as a Solicitor, Rupert worked in the civil litigation department of a respected London Law firm, conducting a varied caseload of property, personal injury and commercial litigation matters. Rupert subsequently set up his own practice and relocated to the Southwest, conducting a varied civil litigation caseload with a speciality in property dispute resolution. During this period Rupert also gained a Masters in Environmental Law and advised and assisted in a range of planning & environmental cases.
Recognising the value of pragmatism and compromise over the adversarial approach, Rupert went on to train with the London School of Mediation and is fully accredited by the Civil Mediation Council (CMC) to mediate in a wide range of civil and commercial disputes. No longer actively practising as a Solicitor Rupert now focuses exclusively on his mediation practice.
