Patrick Benham-Crosswell is a qualified mediator General Information I have spent most of my life solving problems. My experience comes at first hand as a principal, most recently as a CEO and entrepreneur. Having built several companies from scratch and led turnarounds I have seen and solved almost the whole range of problems that a company can face. I have endured (and survived) the stress and pressures that disputes generate. Unlike many, if not most, mediators I am not a lawyer - although I have worked closely with lawyers throughout my career. I believe that this is an advantage, in most disputes it is not the law that is the problem - it's the actions of the parties. I approach a dispute focusing on those actions, confident that if they can be resolved the law will support the solution. By it's nature, English Law is antagonistic. Mediation is co-operative, which is a whole different mind set. My experience includes finding solutions the following areas: Property (Private and Corporate) Easements & Rights of Way Boundary Disputes Service Charge Disputes Party Wall Agreements Land use Nuisance Dilapidations Partnerships Neighbour Disputes Land and Boundary Property disputes Construction and Engineering Building disputes Professional negligence Landlord and Tenant disputes Planning disputes Companies & Commercial Director’s disputes Shareholder disputes Employment Insolvency Fraud Non-performance Quality of goods and work Loan renegotiation Restructuring Franchises Licensing Personal Insolvency Wills and Inheritance Lawyer / client I qualified as a mediator in 2020 and look forward to using my skills, experience and training to help you find viable, lasting solutions.
