Sarah Humphreys General Information Sarah Humphreys was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1993 and then to the Irish Bar in 1994. She has a breadth of expertise in family law, including child arrangements, matrimonial finance, TOLATA, property, cohabitation agreements and separation. Sarah has a particular interest in pre- and post-nuptial agreements and is a firm believer in prevention rather than cure where possible. Before specialising in family law, Sarah spent several years in private practice, gaining experience in probate, property and commercial law, all of which she finds most helpful in her family cases. Such a broad understanding of the wider issues, particularly in property, cohabitation and proprietary estoppel, has often proven advantageous to her clients, either in negotiating more acceptable outcomes, explaining more clearly the context of a situation, or assisting them in choosing an appropriate course of action for the future. With an approachable style, Sarah works hard to ensure parties do not feel overwhelmed by their situation and helps guide clients through both practical as well as legal issues. She is a qualified NLP Practitioner, which provides her with essential communication, negotiation and presentation skills. Sarah is Direct Access accredited.
