Kye Herbert General Information Kye is an approachable and down-to-earth specialist family/children law barrister with 13 years of experience in children law, representing parents, local authorities and children through their guardians in Children Act proceedings. With a growing practice in Deprivation of Liberty applications in the High Court (Inherent Jurisdiction) and the Court of Protection, Kye is also experienced in advice and advocacy work in respect of judicial reviews of decisions relating to social services for unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. His services to members of the public in private family law proceedings have included contact and residence disputes, divorce proceedings, Schedule 1 Children Act, TOLATA claims and domestic abuse injunctions.
