General Information

Called to the bar in 2017, Asim completed his pupillage under the supervision of Mr Mark O'Callaghan in the area of family law and personal injury.

Before commencing pupillage, Asim gained considerable experience working in a leading solicitors' firm, where he was Head of Litigation. He has extensive litigation experience in all aspects of civil matters and particularly commercial landlord and tenant disputes (dilapidations).

Asim brings vast advocacy experience by representing clients in tribunals and county courts. He has fearlessly and eloquently represented the best interest of his clients in all types of cases, from fast track trials to complex multi-track matters. Asim has acted for claimants and defendants, which gives him the added advantage of assessing the case from both viewpoints.

Asim prides himself on providing practical and commercially-focused advice. Due to his experience working at a solicitors' firm, he understands the pressures and difficulties solicitors face and the needs of those who instruct him.

Known for his technical approach, Asim has a keen eye for detail when acting for clients. He has considerable expertise in cases involving taxi credit hire and is the preferred choice as counsel where the case involves credit hire. He offers a swift turnaround in respect of all paperwork, usually within seven days, particularly for advice on quantum.

Personal Interests
Outside of the law, Asim is interested in politics and is also involved in local and national charitable initiatives. He is part of an organisation which helps provide for people who are underprivileged and from impoverished backgrounds. Asim enjoys travelling, playing football and attending the gym to help him keep fit and healthy.
