Since being called to the Bar in 2009, Graham has acted in thousands of cases in a wide variety of civil matters. He has developed exceptional negotiation and formidable witness handling skills after spending the majority of his working life in the County Court and the High Court since 2010. Graham has an excellent win ratio for his clients.
After completing his Law degree and Bar Vocational Course, Graham spent many years as a Solicitor’s Agent, representing banks, businesses and private individuals in civil disputes, before completing his pupillage. Graham also lectured in Law, developing the next generation of Lawyers.
With an exceptional eye for detail and an analytical approach, Graham has an in-depth knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules. Graham also has extensive expertise in the Housing Act 1988, particularly Section 8 and 21, and the strict procedures involved in tenancy.
Unique Medical Law Insight
Alongside his work as a Barrister, Graham is a Non-Executive Director for the NHS Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group, which oversees an £800 million budget. He is Chair of the NHS Buckinghamshire Primary Care Commissioning Committee and the Individual Funding Request Panel where he performs quasi-judicial functions and makes emotive decisions which are amenable to judicial review.
Pro Bono work
Graham works for the legal charity Advocate on a pro bono basis and recently worked to get a freehold housing development released from a service charge contract with a major UK housebuilder.
Outside the office
When not in court, Graham enjoys spending time with his 3 children, travelling, reading and playing golf. Graham is also a property developer and a private landlord.
