Kim Marie Wacek

General Information
Kim Marie Wacek has a broad based civil practice. Before being called to the bar, Ms Wacek practised as an Attorney in the United States for many years. She continues to maintain her American Bar qualifications and is available for instructions on an international basis under the International Practice Rules.
In the United States, Kim specialised in consumer law, debtor/creditor law, mental health and elder law. Her elder law practice was highly specialised and she was often called upon to handle end-of-life issues for the terminally ill. Her consumer law practice was focused on representing financial institutions and automobile dealerships.
Kim undertook pupillage in the Midlands with a general common law chambers which included family law and she continues to accept instructions in this area of the law. She is now developing a commercial law practice and accepts instructions in the areas of consumer law and landlord and tenant (including housing) law. Her skills and interests are varied and her experiences qualify her to accept instructions in numerous areas.
Available to accept work under the Bar Council’s Public Access Scheme, Kim is also a National Certified Professional Guardian (US 2011).
