Since being called to the bar in 1995, Tina has practised exclusively in all areas of family law. More recently with an emphasis on matrimonial financial cases for divorcing couples, cohabiting unmarried couples under TOLATA, cases involving third parties who claim an interest in the assets, and applications for financial provisions/maintenance for children. Tina’s cases often have an international element with disputed overseas assets and maintenance.

Interesting cases:
An application by the husband for wife's divorce petition issued in England to be stayed and for his petition issued in New Zealand to proceed instead. Mr Justice Baker dismissed his application and the financial proceedings were able to proceed in England.

Asif Malik and Sara Kiran will not have their children taken into care and can have their British passports returned, Sir James Munby has ruled in a coda given to his judgment in Re. M (Children). Sir James said reports by social workers concluded the couple no longer pose a risk to their children.Earlier in 2015 the Muslim couple were feared to be travelling to Islamic State with their children.
