Dr Peter Feldschreiber

General Information

Peter is dually qualified in law as a Barrister (call Middle Temple 2000, LLB) and in medicine as a Clinical Pharmacologist and Pharmaceutical Physician MB BS FFPM.

He specialises in medical and healthcare law, including medical products liability, pharmaceutical and medical devices regulatory law, clinical negligence, and personal injury and medically-related employment litigation. 

Peter is a former Senior Medical Assessor and Special Litigation Coordinator to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, Department of Health. Prior to joining the MHRA, he held senior management positions in Glaxo, Boehringer, and as Medical Director Europe for Procter and Gamble.

With a wide-ranging advisory practice, Peter has advised companies on the scientific, regulatory, and legal frameworks of all phases of medicinal product development for immunological, oncology, neuropsychiatric and cardiac therapeutic areas. He has also made submissions to European scientific working parties at the CHMP/EMA and expert advisory groups at the FDA. He is frequently invited to contribute to discussions on regulatory policy with senior officers of MHRA and EMA.

Focused on his paper practice, Peter will consider attending London Coroners' Courts and other tribunals in central London where medical expert witness statements are appropriate to be heard.
