General Information

Antonia has a broad civil practice, specialising in Property, Insolvency, Commercial and Chancery Law. Called to the Bar in 2007, she subsequently practised as a Solicitor-Advocate with a national firm, before joining Clerksroom in May 2015. She is based in London, working from 218 Strand and is happy to travel.

Antonia’s practice includes work in both the High Court and County Court attending a broad range of hearing types from Multi Track and Fast Track matters to Small Claims, Appeals and Interim Applications. ?Antonia also appears in the Employment Tribunal and the First Tier Tribunal (Property Chamber).

She has particular experience in dealing with "Freemen on the Land" defences.

Antonia takes a long term view of client relationships and is committed to securing the best outcome for you.

She is also accredited to accept instructions on a public access basis.

Property/Landlord and Tenant

Antonia acts in proceedings involving mortgage lenders, LPA Receivers, private landlords and social housing. Her property practice includes:

Antonia's insolvency practice involves regularly attending hearings of Bankruptcy Petitions and Winding Up Petitions in the High Court.

In addition she attends Insolvency Act Applications including applications to annul, applications to set aside statutory demands and applications for validation orders.


Antonia represents Claimants and Respondents in proceedings involving unfair and wrongful dismissal and discrimination.

Personal Injury

Antonia's experience includes fast and multi track trials relating to RTAs and Occupiers and Employer's Liability. She is experienced in providing advice on quantum for both adults and minors.

We aim to complete and return all paperwork within 14 days (2 weeks) of receipt if no specific deadline is provided. We can work to much faster timescales if requested or we can agree a specific target date for each individual circumstance. We will always advise at the outset if counsel is unable to meet any deadline.

Each barrister has a standard hourly rate for their work. The individual hourly rate can be agreed when instructions are acknowledged if preferred. We welcome early discussion as to the suitability of a specific barrister for a specific case. The right barrister will have the relevant expertise to deal with the case but will not be too junior, or too senior depending on the complexities.

We aim to allocate all cases to the correct level of experience & seniority which we believe will prove most to be the most cost effective solution for our clients.

If, due to urgency, we allocate paperwork to a more senior member of Clerksroom, we will charge the appropriate hourly rate for the work, not for the barrister. We welcome early discussion to ensure the correct fee is applied to the case at the outset.
