Andrea undertakes most areas of Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence in addition to her role as Clerksroom Head of Costs.
 
Andrea (Andi) Barnes is an experienced  fast and multi track counsel based in the South West with a nationwide practice in personal injury, road traffic, civil claims and costs matters, for both claimant and defendant. 
 
Before coming to the Bar she was in-house counsel in the personal injury department of a major London firm.  This experience gives her a great understanding of the pressures on those instructing her which is much appreciated by many of loyal clients.  Andi is approachable, responsive and a good communicator, qualities which make her in demand as a trainer as well as a popular advocate.

Personal:
Andi is a wife and mum and lives in Somerset. Given the opportunity, she likes to relax by trying out new extreme sports and cooking with chilli peppers.
