Charles is based in Hertfordshire but his practice takes him nationwide. He is also accredited to undertake public access work.

Commercial, Chancery & Property:
Charles practises chiefly in contentious work involving :-
- Chancery: landlord and tenant, boundaries, covenants, conveyancing disputes.
- Commercial: Sale of goods, contractual and commercial disputes
- Professional Indemnity: professional negligence of solicitors and surveyors
Employment
Charles has extensive employment experience, both contentious and non-contentious. He has appeared in numerous cases before Employment Tribunals, advised many clients on Compromise Agreements and drafts contracts of employment and employer policies. He also advises French business clients in French on English employment law.
Personal Injury:
Charles conducts personal injury work at all levels. His industrial disease experience includes NIHL/WRULD, Industrial Deafness, Vibration White Finger, Occupational Stress, and asbestos related disease.
Human rights
Charles has advised and represented many clients with claims arising out of alleged police misconduct, including a case in which the jury awarded damages of £600,000.
