Arran a barrister and arbitrator who works in Dublin, Ireland and as an associate member of Clarendon Chambers. Arran is the co-author of Arbitration Law (Thomson Roundhall, Dublin 2008). He is a member of the Panel of Adjudicators of the Irish Private Residential Tenancies Board; a member of the Panel of Arbitrators of Just Sport Ireland and a member of WIPO’s list of arbitrators. In 2003 he was called to the Bar in Dublin, in 2006 in Belfast and he was called by the Middle Temple, London in 2007. Arran became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in 2006, having been a Member of the Institute since 2003; he obtained his accredited mediator status in 2004.
He has lectured part time in Dublin City University and has tutored in ADR, at the training body in Ireland for solicitors, the Law Society of Ireland. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators Panel of Examiners and Tutors, a member of a Working Group for the June 11, 2008 Young Arbitration Practitioners Conference in Dublin and has written a number of articles on ADR for journals such as the European Current Law Monthly Digest. In April, 2008 he was registered before the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.
